CompareTxt ("the App") is a desktop application for comparing text files and folder structures, developed by Manali ("we", "us", "our"). This License Agreement ("Agreement") applies to copies of the App that you buy from our website through Lemon Squeezy for Windows or macOS. By installing, activating, or using the App you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
Summary: you buy a license to use CompareTxt on one device per license key. The App is licensed, not sold. It works offline after activation. Copies from an app store are covered by that store's standard license terms instead.
This Agreement covers copies bought directly from our website (checkout by Lemon Squeezy).
Copies obtained through the Microsoft Store are governed by the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement/). Copies obtained through another app store are governed by that store's standard application license terms. This Agreement does not change those terms.
Subject to this Agreement and payment of the purchase price, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use one copy of the App, for the platform you bought (Windows or macOS), on one device at a time per license key, for your personal or business use.
The App can tell you when a newer version is available (about once a day, and you can turn this off in the Help menu). Nothing is downloaded or installed automatically. We may offer future versions as free updates or as separate paid upgrades; the purchase page will say which. We do not promise any particular update, feature, or schedule.
You may not:
The App is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you. The App includes open-source software that is licensed to you under its own license terms; you can read them in the App under About > Open-Source Licenses.
The App works with the files and folders you choose, on your device. See our Privacy Policy (https://www.comparetextfile.com/privacy-policy.html) for exactly what this version sends over the internet (license activation and checks, and the daily version check).
Refund requests are handled according to the terms shown at checkout and Lemon Squeezy's policies. For help with installation, activation, or your license, contact aryasoftwaresoultions@gmail.com.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in this Agreement excludes any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the price you paid for your license. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and deactivating your device. This Agreement ends automatically if you breach it, and we may disable the license key in that case. Sections 6, 7, 10, and 11 survive termination.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. The current version is always published at this page with its effective date. Changes do not apply retroactively to versions of the App you already hold under the terms you accepted, except where the law requires otherwise.
